Introducing: Dotted Stripes Scarf

5:47:00 PM

I was at my local AC Moore the other day and a certain yarn caught my eye. It was Bernat's Super Value Stripes in the shade Sherwood Forest Stripes (cool name!). I decided to give it a try and absolutely loved the results. I would totally wear these colors and my fiance also voiced interest in the scarf. Looks like we might have to fight over who gets to wear it on any particular day. Ha!

I designed the Dotted Stripes Scarf pattern for it but the design itself is equally pretty (and super easy) when knit in a solid yarn too.

Dotted Stripes Scarf is a simple Garter stitch scarf which has rows and rows of eyelets. These help keep the design interesting and makes it fun to knit without getting too monotonous. I used just the one skein (about 260 yards) to make the entire scarf. The scarf measures about 43” long and 7” wide but you can customize it to your liking.

I started knitting another scarf in a solid color (Bernat Super Value Solids in Soft Grey) below.
