An Easy & Breezy Summer Project: Fishnet Stitch Cowl

8:06:00 PM

Summer is almost officially here and it sure feels like it lately. It's funny how we always complain about the heat when it's cold outside and vice versa. For the last few weeks I have been working feverishly on another more complex shawl pattern (more about that soon) but felt inspired and compelled to write this easy and breezy one first. Blame the weather and a streak of impulsiveness I guess.

The Fishnet Stitch Cowl is perfect for some relaxing and mindless Summer knitting. The result is a very versatile piece that can be worn as a cowl with a button or made longer into a scarf or wrap. It's wonderful (and cool) made from cotton and cotton blend yarns but you can substitute any fiber you wish. I plan to find some bamboo blend yarn soon to make myself one.

The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry here.
