After putting out a healthy slew of patterns over the course of last year I figured it was time for a much needed mental break. It is after all Summer and the World Cup matches are in full swing (go USA & Argentina!!), so now's as good a time as any to recharge the old batteries.
That's not to say I'm not keeping busy though. I'm just not going at warp speed like I usually do. So, what have I been up to? I'm still knitting and crocheting on a daily basis. I've been working on lots if small projects and accessories to fill my shop indieknits. This is especially awesome since I'm crafting while futbol is playing in the background. I also don't have to give these projects the intense attention required as when I'm designing and writing patterns so that's a welcome break.
I also go out to watch some of the matches at our local pub so it's not like I'm a total hermit. Still, I am admittedly quite the homebody. With non-stop soccer, two cats, a fiance who actually took his vacation around the Cup and plenty of yarn who needs to be out every day anyway?
Check out my shop indieknits if you're looking for some unique ready made knit accessories.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer/Winter and knitting during the World Cup if you're into that sort of thing. :)
