Introducting: Rhombic, An Easy to Knit Unisex Gansey Style Scarf

5:00:00 PM

This easy to knit Gansey style scarf is made from another yarn I found in my stash. I had a ball of Spud & Chloe sweater yarn in the color Chocolate Milk and didn't know what to do with it for the longest time. I had made a cloche hat with it a while back to sell in my shop MelsBells but it never sold so I frogged it and made it into this scarf. The yarn itself is fantastic and especially great if you're looking for something a bit heavier and sturdier but that's still soft.

Rhombic is a very easy pattern suitable for even beginners to tackle. All you need to do is know how to knit and purl and the design will appear magically before your very eyes. ;) I finished the scarf at a medium length of 30" (height is about 4") but you can make it as long as you wish and the pattern includes instructions for doing so.

The pattern is available for download here.

By the way, I'm still looking through my stash (which is dwindling down considerably) to see what else I can come up with. Stay tuned...
