No Excuses: Use Your Arms to Knit!

It's amazing what you can do with what you've got. It's human nature to always want more, thinking that the grass is truly greener on the other side. Yet when we take a step back and realize what we already have we become truly grateful and with a little creative out-of-the-box thinking we can accomplish so much. I myself am guilty of wanting more material things and have been desiring a full set of circular needles for quite some time now. Don't get me wrong, I love my straights but after hearing how much better they are for you and how they can make your knitting life easier I can't help but want them. My back often aches from hours upon hours of knitting but sheer will (and addiction?) keep me pushing forth to see the end result. Then I sleep it off and get right back to it again the next day.

Seeing this video left me in awe and I can't wait to try doing this myself. It also made me remember using my fingers to crochet a long chain when I was a young child. I recall being so amazed at the process and feeling that I really did this all myself and it was so cool. Back then I was also partial to playing loads of Cat's Cradle and would bug family members and classmates to play along. I guess working with string for a living was definitely in the cards for me. lol
